DONNA SUE HALSEY Donna Sue Halsey, daughter of James Isaac and Ruby Lois Moore Riggs, was born, October 11, 1947 in Camdenton, Missouri. She departed this life, Saturday, March 9, 2013, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty-five years, four months and twenty-six days. Survivors include five children, Patricia Webster and companion Everett Moore of Camdenton, Missouri, James Webster and wife Mary of Camdenton, Missouri, Michael Webster and wife Heather of Kansas City, Missouri, Tonda Contreras of Lebanon, Missouri and LeRoy Wescott and wife Natasha of Camdenton, Missouri; twelve grandchildren, Fielden Montgomery and wife Kendra, Ashley Frymier, B.J. Powers and wife Kegan, Hunter Webster, Braiden Looney, Sabrina Looney, Aspin Wescott and Zoey Wescott all of Camdenton, Missouri, Cody Webster, William Webster and Majka Roy Webster all of Kansas City, Missouri and Travis Webster of Osage Beach, Missouri; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Bee Dampier and husband Ernie of Camdenton, Missouri, a brother, Mike Minnick and wife Connie of Ozark, Missouri; an aunt, Jo Williams of Lebanon, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ike and Ruby Riggs; a daughter, Jackie Webster, a grandson, Joshua Webster; a granddaughter, Shianne Webster; a sister, Kathy Riggs and three brothers, Possey Riggs, Gary and Larry Riggs. Donna Sue was raised in Camdenton and attended school in Camdenton and Le Clair, Iowa. She dedicated her life to the care of her children and grandchildren and to any who needed help. Donna Sue had a testimony of salvation and enjoyed attending several area Missionary Baptist Churches. In her spare time she enjoyed playing marbles and listening to bluegrass & gospel music. She loved having company over, drinking coffee and visiting. She enjoyed time spent playing pitch and doing word search puzzles. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. She welcomed any and all into her home. No matter how hard times were, she never turned anyone away who needed a place to rest or a bite to eat. She loved to dance and laugh. Her love and compassion will linger on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
