Donna Jean Young

Donna Jean Young was born in Sidney, Ohio on Friday, August 08, 1952; a daughter to Don Edward and Ruth Carol (Freisthler) Morelock. Donna passed away with her family surrounding her in Conway, Arkansas on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the age of sixty-nine. Donna was of the Catholic faith and resident of Greenbrier, Arkansas for thirty years. She was the owner and operator of Old McDonna’s Farm and a fruit stand in Greenbrier. She was well known in the community for her prize-winning flowers and produce at the local fair. She enjoyed watching football, rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs. Donna was loved by many and will always be present in memory. Donna is preceded in death by her parents: Don and Ruth Morelock; daughter: Melissa Dady; Phil Hamilton. Donna is survived by her children: Jenny Bassett and husband Bob of Vilonia, Arkansas, John Young of Greenbrier, Arkansas, JoAnn Young and fiancé Tom Meyer of Greenbrier, Arkansas; son-in-law: Chris Dady; siblings: Gary Morelock and Sharon, Janice Clopp and husband Carlon, Phyllis Truelove and husband Robert and Michael Morelock all of Macks Creek, Missouri, Jill Moerlock and partner Terri Snyder of Lebanon, Missouri; grandchildren: Hayden Dady and wife Randi, Hunter Dady and fiancée Keagan, Jenna Dady all of Lone Jack, Missouri; great-grandchildren: Gavin, Beau, and Grayson Dady all of Lone Jack, Missouri; her children's father: John Young; along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 04, 2022 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow in Macks Creek Cemetery, Macks Creek, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 03, 2022 at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to a local Humane Society of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
