Donna Kay Rawlings

Donna Kay Rawlings, daughter of Don and Roberta Kay (Darling) Muenks, was born April 23, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri surrounded by her family, at the age of sixty-years, six months and twenty-eight days.

On October 26, 1985, Donna was united in marriage to Vincent Rawlings and to this union two children were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Kay Muenks.

Survivors include her husband, Vincent, of the home; a son, David Rawlings and wife Carey of St. Peters, Missouri; a daughter Rachel Christensen and husband Alex of Camdenton, Missouri; a sister Mary Beth Hanna and husband Bob of St. Peters, Missouri; two brothers Mark Muenks and wife Nicole of Cottleville, Missouri and Andrew Muenks of Overland, Missouri; her grandchildren, Logan, Gracelyn, Ian, Brooklyn, Corbin and Maxton; her aunts and uncles, as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.

Donna grew up in St. Charles, Missouri and was a graduate of Francis Howell High School. She briefly attended the University of Missouri. Following the birth of her children, Donna became a homemaker and lovingly raised her family. She and Vince moved to the lake area in 1995 where they managed a resort for eight years.

Donna was baptized in the Catholic Faith and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

She loved her family dearly and was especially proud of her grandchildren. Donna was an avid reader and enjoyed doing various crafts. She was an excellent joke teller and always managed to see the positive side of life.

Donna was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the many memories she has created for her family and many dear friends.
