Donna Lou Leas

Donna Lou Leas, daughter of Leo Boehm and Diann Orser Boehm, was born, June 14, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri. She departed this life surrounded by her family, June 6, 2022, at her home in Climax Springs, Missouri at the age of fifty-nine years, eleven months and twenty-three days of age. On June 4, 2005 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Roger Leas. Together they shared seventeen years of marriage and three children. She was preceded in death by two brothers, JW Fullington, Steve Fullington; her maternal grandparents, Frank & Peggy Orser; and her faithful pup Sarge. She is survived by her husband, Roger Leas of the home; two daughters, LeeAnn & her husband, Ricky Davila of Murrieta, California, Tina & her husband Brad Stewart of Overland Park, Kansas; son, Jeffry Leas of Kansas City, Missouri; one granddaughter, Avah Davila; one grandson, Brendan Stewart; parents, Leo & Diann Boehm. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Donna was raised Shawnee Mission, Kansas and was a graduate of Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. She lived in the area until moving to Climax Springs, Missouri in 2001. In her spare time Donna was an active member of the Northwest Fire Protection District Lady Embers and served as president. Donna loved being a Nana and spending time with her grandchildren, Avah & Brendan. She loved tending to her gardens, both flowers and vegetables. With Roger by her side, she loved boat racing, RC boat races, and competed with her own RC boat. Together they traveled across the country in their RV seeing sites and enjoying the moments together. When at home she enjoyed riding their side by side around their hometown of Climax Springs. Donna had a love for animals especially eagles, and hummingbirds. She never knew a stranger and had a smile that could light up a room. Donna always had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for. She was a loving and a caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Memorial donations may be made to the Northwest Fire Protection District and mailed to the funeral home at 15 Clint Ave Camdenton, Missouri 65020. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
