DORIS FERN WIPPERMAN Doris Fern Wipperman, daughter of Wallace Bion and Maude Evalyn McFarland McCormick, was born, March 12, 1926 in Independence, Missouri. She departed this life, Thursday, March 26, 2009 in Blake Medical Center, Bradenton, Florida at the age of eighty-three years and fourteen days. On December 22, 1945, she was united in marriage to Orville Wipperman and to this union four children were born. Together they recently celebrated their sixty-third wedding anniversary. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Bill Williams; five brothers and one sister. Survivors include her loving husband, Orville Wipperman of the home; four children, Bill Wipperman and wife Marcie of Bradenton, Florida, Dyanna Hurley of Banning, California, Leonard Wipperman and wife Susan of McMinnville, Oregon and Kathryn Mumaw and husband Chris of Anaheim, California; ten grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren Doris was raised in Independence, Missouri. She worked as a nurse aide for many years. She and Orville lived in Camdenton, Missouri where he served as Chief of Police and later moved to Eldon, Missouri. They retired to Bradenton, Florida in 2002. She made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Eldon United Methodist Church while at the lake and Oneco Methodist Church while in Florida. In her spare time she enjoyed bingo and playing cards with friends at Lincoln Arms Park in Bradenton. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her many accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2009 in Oneco Methodist Church, Oneco, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2009 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow in Allee Memorial Gardens, Camdenton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oneco Methodist Church, PO Box 908, Oneco, FL 34264 or left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
