EDNA PERKINS Edna Louise Perkins, daughter of Edward Lewis and Viola Katherine Davis Snyder, was born, July 7, 1937 in Erie, Pennsylvania. She departed this life, Wednesday, December 16, 2009, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of seventy-two years, five months and nine days. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Katherine Ann Perkins and a granddaughter, Katherine Ann Billington. Survivors include her children, Ethel Marie Davis and husband Carl of Gilmer, Texas, Ernest Lewis Perkins of Eldon, Missouri and James Robert Perkins of Olathe, Kansas; five grandchildren, John Phillip Billington, Kelly Marie Billington, Megan Rael Stewart, Christopher Daniel Stewart sand Jacyln Paige Shipma; numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward Elmer Snyder and wife Candice of Indiana and many other relatives and friends. Edna was raised in Pennsylvania and as a youngster moved to Indiana. She was a graduate of South Bend High School in the class of 1952. She was married and began working after high school. The family later moved to Illinois and Edna moved to Missouri in 1976. She resided in Lebanon and Camdenton and worked as an accountant. She was baptized in to the Catholic Church and was a member of St. Frances DeSales Catholic Church in Lebanon and later became of member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Camdenton. Edna served as the area coordinator for the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks for the Lebanon area. She has also been a member of the Rainbow Girls and the Eastern Star. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, needle work, and cooking. She loved feeding and watching the wild birds and flowers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 21, 2009 in St. Anthony Catholic Church, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m., Monday in the church. Private burial will be in Allee Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church Youth and left at the funeral home or the church the day of the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
