EDWARD “EDDIE” BOOTH Edward “Eddie” Booth was born June 5, 1927 in Brunswick, Maryland and departed this life, August 9, 2015. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II. Edward was four time commander of the Paso Del Norte VFW Post #58. After various careers, he worked for the Climax Springs school district for several years and finally retired. He enjoyed retirement at the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks, and his great love for fishing, boating, nature, and animals was well known and appreciated by friends and neighbors. Edward and Lonna “Babe” married in 1996 in El Paso, Texas after a ten year long courtship, and they enjoyed their time together until his death. Edward is survived by his wife, Babe; his step-son, Thomas O’Laughlin and wife Charlotte and his nephew, Clarence “Butch” Booth. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Climax Springs Presbyterian Church, Climax Springs, Missouri with full military honors. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri is assisting the family with their arrangements.
