Edward Lee Foster Jr., son of the late Edward Lee & Linnie (Maxwell) Foster, was born on July 4, 1944 and departed this life on June 26, 2020. At the time of his passing he was 8 days shy of his 76th birthday. Ed was born in Ozark, AR and moved with his family to Kansas City, MO when he was in grade school. He attended and graduated from Northeast High School in 1962. Shortly after graduation on November 23rd, he was united in marriage to the love of his life for 56 years, Vicki (Tiller) Foster. Together, they had one daughter, Kerri (Foster) Horn. They started their family in Independence, MO and stayed there for the first 16 years of their marriage. They then began a journey of moving approximately every 7 years as he rose in the ranks at CertainTeed Corporation. They moved to Chowchilla, CA, Norwalk, OH, Henderson, NC, Madera, CA, Shakopee, MN and then back to Kansas City, MO where he retired in 2010 after 48 years with the company. They retired to their dream home at the Lake of the Ozarks, MO where they enjoyed golf, fishing, jet skiing, boating and spending time with friends. In 2015, they began splitting their time between MO and Lake Havasu City, AZ where they enjoyed golfing, riding their Razor in the desert and spending time with friends. Ed was preceded in passing by his parents and one sister, Patricia Simons. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Vicki Foster of Roach, Missouri; one daughter, Kerri & her husband Bryon Horn of Fresno, California; one grandson, Wesley Edward Horn of Fresno, California; four siblings, Jackie & wife Anna Foster, Billy & wife Kathy Foster, Linda & husband David Overbeck and Vickie & husband Willie Murillo. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members who will all truly miss him.
