Elizabeth Ann Finley Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Heath Finley, was born, August 23, 1936 in Albany, New York. She departed this life, Sunday, April 1, 2018, in Windsor Estates Care Center, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of eighty-one years, seven months and nine days. On June 19, 1959 in Maryland, she was united in marriage to Thomas William Finley and to this union one child was born. Together they shared fifty-four blessed years of marriage. . She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and her daughter Rebecca Puckett. Survivors include her grandchildren, McKenah Puckett and Montana Puckett and wife Kayla; her dear friend, Lucille Eaton of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Betty spent her early years in New York. She graduated from high school and worked in the Albany, New York area before she joined the Air Force. She had served in the United States Air Force from 1957-1959. This is where she met the love of her life, Thomas William Finley. They traveled all over the country while he made the service his career. Upon retirement, they moved to the lake area where they made their home. Betty had worked at Camdenton R-3 school as a cook. She was a member of TOPS, attended Curves for forty years and was a member of American Legion in Camdenton, Missouri. Betty had recently started attending Ira Church with Lucille. In her spare time she loved to make pies. Everyone always loved the Bean Supper time for her famous pies. She had a passion for reading and collecting cookbooks. She was a loving grandmother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2018, in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow in Allee Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service in the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
