Emmitt Webster

EMMITT WEBSTER Emmitt Webster, son of Fred Jefferson and Zella Rucker Webster, was born, November 26, 1936 in Camdenton County, Missouri. He passed away, Tuesday, May 1, 2007 in his home in Macks Creek, Missouri at the age of seventy years, five months and five days. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Leo Webster and an infant daughter. Survivors include a son, Emmitt Webster and wife Donna of Norfolk, Virginia; two daughters, Belinda Talliere and husband and husband Gerard of Norfolk, Virginia and Emily Webster of the state of California; a step-daughter, Pam Brezina and husband Donald of Norfolk, Virginia; twelve grandchildren, Angie Lozeau, Amber Mukherjee, Donald Brezina, Jr., Deborah Wittenbrook, Patricia Negron, Anthony Callis, Christopher Webster, Aaron Talliere, Jenna Talliere, Hannah Talliere, Emmitt Nathan Webster, Jr. and Sean Brandon Webster; five great-grandchildren, Chloe, Micah and Emily Lozeau and Madison and Elliana Mukherjee; a special friend, Hilda Campbell of Macks Creek, Missouri; seven sisters, Daisy Bell and husband Eugene of Camdenton, Missouri, Pagie Morrison and husband Bill of Grand Prairie, Texas, Sybil Cullen of Camdenton, Missouri, Mary McGuire of Wheatland, Missouri, Elizabeth Walker of Camdenton, Missouri, Bertha Kinney and husband Wilbur of Camdenton, Missouri and Norma Meeks of Camdenton, Missouri; two brothers, Sammy Webster and wife Geraline of Seymour, Missouri and Fred Webster of Lebanon, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Emmitt was raised in Camden County, Missouri and attended school in Camdenton. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served his county with a career that spanned thirty years. He retired as a Chief Boatswain's Mate with many honors and medals. He spent most of his Navy career in Norfolk, Virginia. After his retirement, he moved back to Camden County. In his time he enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, gardening and hunting. He also enjoyed tending to his herd of cattle. Emmitt was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will miss him greatly.
