Georgia Maxine Green Webster, daughter of George Dickerson and Leta Fern Bonner Green, was born November 18, 1946 in The Dalles, Oregon. She departed this life Monday, August 9, 2021 in Lake Regional Health Systems, Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of seventy-four years, eight months, and twenty-two days. On February 21, 1993, Maxine was united in marriage to Lester Joel “Mannie” Webster. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mannie; a daughter, Janis Rowell; and two sons-in-law, Jeff Stevenson and Gary McQueen. She is survived by her children, Jesse Thomas and wife Sandra, of Camdenton, Missouri, Gina Stevenson, of Macks Creek, Missouri, Aaron Anderson of Lebanon, Missouri, Julie McQueen, of Macks Creek, Missouri, and Susan Neff and husband Bobby, of Camdenton, Missouri; her grandchildren, Brittany Bolyard, Jeffery Stevenson, Amanda Himes (granddaughter but raised as a daughter), Ann Bowman, Brooke Anderson, Ashley Anderson, Amy Anderson, Tara Swadley, Elizabeth McQueen, Heather Messer, Melissa Blum, and Tonya Neff; great-grandchildren, Marie, Alexa, and Estella; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. Maxine was born in Oregon and moved to the Climax Springs, Missouri area as a young child, and attended Climax Springs High School. Maxine later moved to Lee’s Summit, Missouri and returned to the Camdenton/Macks Creek area to make her home. She worked as a Personnel Manager for Wal-Mart for thirty-four years until her retirement. Maxine was saved and was a member of the Webster Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she faithfully served the lord for many years. After her retirement, Maxine enjoyed going to the Macks Creek Senior Citizen Center with her friends. She also loved to visit many antique shops with her family as well as spending time with her cousin, Joyce Ann Stoner. In her spare time, Maxine liked to work puzzles and created many beautiful paintings. She was known for her baking skills, especially her banana pudding, banana split cake, and lasagna. Maxine was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and many accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 13, 2021 at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Camdenton, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Cemetery and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
