Gerald Helle

Gerald Lee Helle 'Jerry' age 65 of Sunrise Beach Missouri died at home following a long hard-fought fight with illness on January 16, 2025.

Jerry was born in Fort Stewart, Georgia to Lee Helle and Phyllis Turner and grew up in Fort Lewis/Tacoma Washington and later Belvidere, Illinois where he attended school. 

 Jerry was a tenacious and a fun-loving person who was always up for a party or gathering. He was loyal, sometimes even beyond comprehension. He was a dreamer with a big imagination who wanted nothing more than to live life large while surrounded by friends and family. We trust he is now in a place where he can sit back, relax and enjoy the company of those who have gone before him, and root for those of us he loves. 

 Jerry was proceeded in death by his father Lee, and his brothers Jeff and Chuck, his paternal grandparents Geraldine and Jess McCluen and maternal grandmother Mary Mcguire.

 Jerry's daughter Maggie (Steve) survives him and his granddaughters, Emma, Ashley and Katie. 

 He is also survived by his mother Phyllis and sisters, Teresa Sauther, Roberta Starkey, Kendra Stephanson, Shawn Schmidt, and Kathy Voss. Many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
