Gracie Florene Terry, daughter of Charles and Lidia Ellen Danuser Morris, was born, May 30, 1929 in Freedom, Missouri. She departed this life, February 15, 2019, in Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of Eighty nine years, eight months and sixteen days. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, James David Duermyer, great-grandchild Eden Mahoney, her sisters, Marry Duermyer and husband Tom, Loren Boze and husband Lewis, and Elizabeth Nicks and husband Bob, and her half brothers and sisters, Artie Crouch and husband Tommy, Ida Hanks and husband Estol, Bessie Clark and husband Bill, Jim Morris and wife Pearl, and Donnie Platter and husband Albert. She is survived by her two daughter, Catherine Duermyer Nicks and husband Dan of Richland, Missouri, and Donna Jean Duermyer Barnard and husband Gary of Booneville, Missouri,; six grandchildren, Frederick David England of Lebanon, Missouri, Starla Cooley and husband Joe of Columbia, Missouri, Darina Wise and husband Bobby of Lebanon, Missouri, Gracie Humphrey and husband Ron of California, Missouri, Douglas Barnard of Booneville, Missouri, and Rose Ellen Polonsky and husband Mitchel of Arizona,; four great grandchildren,; five great-great-grandchildren,; one sister, Estelle Gallaway of Camdenton, Missouri,; one brother, Charles Morris and wife Dale of Springfield, Missouri, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Gracie has lived in the Camdenton area her whole life and graduated from Camdenton High School in 1940. Gracie made a profession of faith and was a member of Linn Creek Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sells. She was spent her free time quilting, sewing , gardening, and dancing. She preferred to eat out especially at Taco Bell. She was an avid card players going through multiple decks of cards while playing solitaire and skip bo. She was a loving mom, grandma, sister, daughter, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Memorial donations may be made to Freedom Cemetery and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
