Together they shared sixty-three years of marriage. Gene was a gifted auto and truck mechanic and had owned and operated a service station in Camdenton for many years. He later owned McGuire Trucking and had worked at S&W Propane until his retirement in 2005. Gene was a soft-spoken gentleman that loved to make music and sing in Church, numerous reunions and many other events in the area. Gene and Janice sang countless hymns together throughout the years and were truly best friends. He also enjoyed taking care of his livestock and raising a garden. Later in life, Gene had taken up woodworking and had created many beautiful pieces that he shared with his family.
