Helen Ruth Bachmann

Helen Bachmann, daughter of Samuel and Susie (Jameison) Bland, was born, May 31, 1928 in, Moscow Mills, Missouri. She departed this life, January 8, 2021, in Camdenton, Missouri at the age of 92 years, 7 months and 8 days. On September 29, 1945, she was united in marriage to Earl Bachmann, and to this union 12 children were born. Together they shared 52 years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bachmann Sr.: sons, Earl Charles Bachmann Jr., Timothy Edward Bachmann, Lawrence Eugene Bachmann; and 14 siblings. Survivors include her children, Michael Bachmann, Sharon Wirtel, Susan Ruff, Cindy Landrum, Nancy & husband Al Peetz, Patricia Greene, Harry Bachmann, Judy & husband Kenny Landrum and Hans & wife Pattie Bachmann. She also leaves behind several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who will all truly miss her. Helen was born in Moscow Mills and moved to St. Louis at the age of 9. Shortly after finishing school, Helen and Earl were married and started their family. Helen loved being a mom and caring for her children. Helen was a member of Fourth Street Baptist Church, St. Louis, Missouri and loved her church family and volunteering there. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting and planting flowers. She was a loving and caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2021 at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. A visitation will take place prior to the funeral from 12:00 until the time of service. Interment will take place Monday, January 25, 2021 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
