JAMES CLARK, II James Gordon Clark II, son of James Gordon Clark, Sr. and Mary Gladys McDaniel Clark, was born, July 14, 1954 in Bainbridge, Maryland. He departed this life, Friday, January 21, 2011, in his home, Linn Creek, Missouri at the age of fifty-six. His father passed away a few hours before him. Jim's heart was too big to bear the loss of his father. On February 8, 1985 in Springfield, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Julia Lee Cochran. Together they shared almost twenty-six years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Christine and a brother, John. Survivors include his wife, Julia; his mother, Mary; two brothers, William and Wyatt, both of Linn Creek; a sister, Kathy, El Paso, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Jim was raised in various places as his father was in the Navy. He was a graduate of Andress High School in El Paso, Texas. He served a short time in the armed forces before receiving a medical discharge. He owned a fence business and an overheard door business. He then began a career as an over-the-road truck driver which spanned many years. He moved to Linn Creek in 1984. His wife was able to accompany him for eight years while he was an over-the-road truck drive, traveling from coast to coast. In his spare time, he loved to travel. He owned Harley-Davidson motorcycles and was a member of the Harley Owners "Hogs" group. He was able to travel to Sturgis, South Dakota for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman and loved hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband, son, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. He loved his family deeply and his memory will live on in their hearts forever. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 28, 2011 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow in Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Friday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Freedom Cemetery, c/o Sherry Clemmons, 42945 State Hwy 7, Montreal, MO 65591. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
