INA LESHER Ina Faye Winfrey-Lesher, daughter of George William and Stella Mae Pierce Mann was born, June 13, 1921 in Camdenton, Missouri. She departed this life, Wednesday, March 30, 2011, in Osage Beach Health Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of eighty-nine years, nine months and seventeen days. In 1946, she was united in marriage to Farrell Edward Winfrey and to this union two daughters were born. He preceded her in death in 1983 after thirty-seven years of marriage. She married James L. Lesher in 1995 and they shared nine years together before his passing in 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughters, Kathryn Heimbeaugh of Camdenton, Missouri and Rita Flory-Anderson of Lake Ozark, Missouri; four grandchildren, Pam Lombardo and husband Eric of Ft. Myers, Florida, Rhonda Lafoy of Roach, Missouri, Angie Thomas and husband Capt and Nick Flory and wife Alesia all of Montreal, Missouri; seven great-grandchildren, Amanda, Zack, Brian, Danny, Brett, Ryan and Shane; a great-great-granddaughter, Emma and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Ina was a life-long resident of Camden County. In her younger years, she worked for the Selective Service. She and Farrell owned Winfrey General Merchandise in Montreal for seven years. She worked for IGA in Camdenton which later became United Super. She then began working at Gerbes Supermarket and retired in 1983 as head cashier. Ina made a profession of faith and was a member of New Testament Christian Church. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting and sewing and made many beautiful items. She loved to cook and travel. Most of all, being with her family brought her joy. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Laughlin Cemetery, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Osage Beach Health Care Center Activity Department and left at the funeral home or mail to P.O. Box 840, Osage Beach, MO 65065. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
