IRENE TUCKER Mable Irene Tucker, daughter of William Shadrick and Adah Lee Nichols Mustain, was born, June 24, 1932 in Hartsburg, Missouri. She departed this life, Tuesday, December 16, 2008 in University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri at the age of seventy-six years, five months and twenty-two days. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lee Tucker and three brothers, William Mustain, Lloyd Mustain and Donnie Mustain. Survivors include her daughters, Marsha Gainey and husband Bill of Olathe, Kansas and Sharon Salsman and husband William of Temecula, California; seven grandchildren, Jason Perry and wife Simone of Noblesville, Indiana, Matthew Perry and wife Molly of Duluth, Georgia, Zachery Henry of Noblesville, Indiana, Tanya Kowalski of Winter Garden, Illinois, Tyler Henry of Olathe, Kansas, Aaron Salsman and wife Sandra of Linn Creek, Missouri and Aimee Salsman of Temecula, California; eight great-grandchildren, Sophia Perry, Morgan and Max Perry, Courtney and Corey Kowalski and Austin, Nicholas and Jesse Salsman; a brother, Pete Mustain and wife Mary Ann of Olathe, Kansas; six sisters, Laura Schellinger of Olathe, Kansas, Kathy Stuart of Camdenton, Missouri, Shirley Herring of Abilene, Texas, Joan Brooks of Camdenton, Missouri, Linda Foley and husband Jim of Henry, Illinois and "The Baby" Judy Young and husband Bill of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and many friends. She was raised along the Missouri river and had fond memories of her and her sister giving fresh fruit to riverboats that stopped near their home. She went to Nashville and recorded music for a time. Irene made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of New Beginning Baptist Church in Camdenton. She had attended Bible Baptist Church of Camdenton in earlier years. She was a volunteer for the Lamb House and away tried to help people in need. Her favorite things were her church, children and music. She sang and played the guitar whenever the opportunity allowed. She loved visiting with family and friends. Irene was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2008 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. A short visitation will follow the service Memorial donations may be made to the Lamb House and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
