IRVIN "BOOTS" STOLL Irvin LeRoy Stoll, son of Edward and Josephine Bauman Stoll, was born, June 27, 1928 in Festus, Missouri. He departed this life, Sunday, August 31, 2008 in his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of eighty years, two months and four days. On October 2, 1954 in Sacred Heart Church, Crystal City, Missouri he was united in marriage to Louella Theresa Linderer and to this union two sons were born. Together they shared the past fifty-three years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kevin Stoll; a brother, Edward Stoll, Jr. and two infant brothers. Survivors include his loving wife, Lou Stoll of the home; a son, Timothy J. Stoll and two grandchildren, Tyler and Breanna Stoll, all of Festus, Missouri; a brother, Wilfred Stoll and wife Eileen of St. Charles, Missouri and a host of other relatives and many friends. Boots was raised in Festus, Missouri and graduated from high school there. He worked several different jobs, until beginning a career as an electrician and machinist for Pittsburg Plate Glass which spanned over thirty years. After retirement from PPG, he and Lou retired to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1979. While at the lake, he worked for a time at Blair Cedar as well as Lake Valley Country Club. He was baptized into the Catholic Church and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Camdenton. He was active in his parish and served as an usher. Boots was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Camdenton and the Lake Valley Country Club. In spare time he enjoyed golfing. He could be found on the course anytime the weather and time allowed. He was an avid bowler until he took up golf. He also enjoyed woodworking and could make almost anything. Most of all, he enjoyed time spent with family and friends. Boots was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. He will be missed by many, however, the memories he created will live on forever. Memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 8, 2008 in St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m., Monday in the church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Festus, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony Building Fund and left at the funeral home or the church the day of the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
