James H Burke

​James H Burke, son of Hughlon Burke and Johnnie Hill, was born, October 28, 1930 in Buckner, Arkansas. He departed this life, September 30, 2018, in Laurie Care Center, Laurie, Missouri at the age of eighty seven years, eleven months and two days. ​On May 24, 1952 in Hope, Arkansas he was united in marriage to the late Dorotha Mullins. Together they shared 64 years of marriage.He was preceded in death by his wife Dorotha Burke and son Charlie Burke. ​Survivors include his son, Gary Burke and wife Mary Jo of Merriam, Kansas, one granddaughter Kelsi Burke and grandson, Cameron Burke and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. ​James was raised in Buckner, Arkansas, lived in Kansas City for twenty five years, and lived in Osage Beach for twenty five years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. ​​Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri
