JIM ESLINGER James Doyle Eslinger Jr., son of James Doyle Eslinger Sr. and Norma Lorraine Reynolds Whiteley, was born, June 16, 1963 in Phoenix, Arizona. He departed this life, Sunday, May 5, 2013, in University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri at the age of forty-nine years, ten months and nineteen days. He has been together with Kay Lin Hall Eslinger since, July 31, 1993. Together they shared many wonderful years. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Kay L. Eslinger of Linn Creek, Missouri; his mother, Norma Whiteley and husband Van of Marietta, Mississippi; a sister, Raelyn Spencer of Oxnard, Mississippi; two sons, Ross Burger of Phoenix, Arizona and Raymond Burger of Bullhead City, Arizona; two step-sons, Joseph D. Ferrari, III and wife Crystal and Harry J. Ferrari all of Traverse City, Michigan; four step-grandchildren, J.D. "Nick" Ferrari, IV, Triston Allen Ferrari, Evarei Dawn Ferrari and Barbara Jean Ferrari; his parents-in-law, Ray and Judie Hall of Camdenton, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Freer R. Hall III and wife Kristen of Zanefield, Ohio and Harry C. Hall and wife Malissa of Guyton, Georgia and. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Jim was raised in Phoenix and at the age of five moved to California. He lived in the Chino Hills, California area until moving to Bull Head City, Arizona. He moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in the early 1990's. He was a heating and cooling technician for Controlled Heating and Cooling. James made a profession of faith and was a member of New Life Church of the Nazarene in Camdenton. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was very talented at wood working and leather work. He enjoyed building computers. He was good at his occupation and enjoyed time spent working. Most of all, his family and his pets brought him joy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. A memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 9, 2013, in New Life Church of the Nazarene. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
