James Lee Crall

James Lee Crall, son of Ira Lee Crall and Beulah “Faye” (Leffert) Danuser, was born, April 19, 1950 in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life, May 24, 2024, in his home in Decaturville, Missouri at the age of seventy-four years, one month and five days.

On June 20, 1970 he was united in marriage to Delores Leona Ward and to this union two children were born. Together they shared fifty-three years of marriage.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ira Lee Crall; his mother, Beulah "Faye" (Leffert) Danuser and step-father, Pete Danuser; brother, Jeff VanDonsel; and sister Arleane Lea (Crall) Head.

James is survived by his wife, Delores Crall of Decaturville, Missouri; sons, James Michael Crall (and Carol) of Decaturville, Missouri and David L. Crall (and wife Krissy) of Buffalo, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas Danuser (and wife Barbara); brother, Richard Danuser of Montreal, Missouri; sister Grace Ailene (Danuser) Hunter, sister, Rita Crall of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

James was raised in the Kansas City area where he completed High School and then attended Kansas City Junior College.

James was a devoted member of Union Southern Babtist Church in Decaturville, Missouri.

In his spare time, he enjoyed looking at pictures and telling stories of the past, as well as, studying genealogy.

James was a benefit to the food service industry and his career culminated as a Chef working at Tan Tara Resort.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2024 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2024, in Union Southern Baptist Church, Decaturville, Missouri. Burial will follow in Myetta Cemetery, Camdenton, Missouri.

Memorial donations may be made to the Union Southern Baptist Church and left at the funeral home.
