Janet Fangohr

Janet Fangohr, daughter of the late Emmett & Kathleen (Benton) Bailey, was born on September 16, 1949 and departed this life on January 7, 2022. At the time of her passing, she was seventy-two years, three months and twenty-two days of age. She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Michael Fangohr; grandson, Cody Lee Bailey; and six siblings. She is survived by her children, Angela & husband Russell Klein, Tracey Bailey and Wally & wife Rilla Bailey; brother-in-law, Richard & wife Dana Fangohr; five brothers, Ted, Tony, Joe, Billy and Marty; three sisters, Becky, Candy, and Edna; thirteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of many friends and other family members who will all truly miss her. Janet was born, raised and attended school in Leavenworth, Kansas. She began her family shortly after she finished her schooling, having three children, all of whom survive her. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to casinos, playing the piano and above all, spending time with her grandchildren. Every day, for the last six months of her life, she spent with her grandson, Zayden Ray Ireland, who brought her lots of joy and laughter. Her famous line that her friends will remember and cherish was, “Love ya, Love ya, Love ya, like a big tub of butter.” She was a loving and a caring neighbor and friend.
