Janet L Davison

Janet L. Davison of Osage Beach passed away August 7, 2017 at Lake Regional Hospital. She was born January 21, 1945 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, daughter of Edward G. (Sparky) Sparkowitz and Wanita J. Hughes. Janet married Elmo Joe Davison, June 21, 1968 in Clayton, Missouri. Janet was a loving Mother and Grandmother (Mema) and Great Grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking, drawing cartoon characters, canning garden vegetables and fast cars. Janet was a loyal friend and neighbor. She will be forever missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her sister Nancy A. Doan of Kansas. Her children, Barbara Minges and husband Mark of Missouri, Diane Small and husband Bob of Michigan, Keith Davison and wife Cindy of Arkansas, and Rodney Davison and wife Lori of Arkansas. Grandchildren include Justin Reese, Amanda Minges, Eric Marsh, Britany Davison, Robert Stewart, Kyle Davison, Cole Davison, Joseph Davison, Kacee Davis, Logan Davison, Maddy Davison, and Jakelyn Davison. Janet had eight great grand children and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmo Davison on May 27, 2007, and her daughter Christine R. Jensen on February 28, 2017. Memorial donations may be made to the Dogwood Animal Shelter and can be sent to the funeral home.
