Janice "Jan" Clark

Janice Ruth Clark, daughter of James Everett and Ruth Ann Wetherell Clark, was born, October 13, 1950 in Fulton, Missouri. She departed this life, Friday, April 15, 2022, in Lake Parke Senior Living, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of seventy-one years, six months and two days. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Kenjan “Kenji” Clark; one brother, Kenny Clark and her sister, Nancy Clark. She is survived by, Ken Clark of Camdenton, Missouri; her children, Wes Clark and wife Sherri of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Sherri Willett and husband Paul of Call, Texas and Andy Clark and Trish Sherman of Olathe, Kansas, eleven grandchildren, Rachelle, Bailey, Heather, Sydney, Leslie, Rebbecca, Deanndra, Kirsten, Dustin, Suzanne and Jonathan; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Clark and wife Angie of Auxvasse, Missouri and Michael Clark and wife Tina of Camdenton, Missouri; one sister, Lisa Clark of Mokane, Missouri; her very dear friend, Ellen Bellmer and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Jan was raised in Mokane Missouri. She attended and graduated from South Callaway High School Class of 1968. After graduation, she began college at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri before moving to William Woods College in Fulton, Missouri where she graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology. She went on to work at William Woods in the administration office. She met the love of her life, Ken Clark, and they were married in 1973 and were blessed with their son Kenji. At the end of 1976, they moved to Camdenton and together they started Clark’s Concrete. Jan worked at Tan-Tar-A during the day and managed the family business at night time. Janice made a profession of faith and was a member of First Baptist Church of Camdenton. In her spare time, Jan enjoyed helping with the meals on Wednesday nights for the Awana’s at the First Baptist Church, Camdenton. She and Ken were instrumental in getting the Junior Golf program started. She enjoyed being out and playing golf, every chance she had. She also loved Navarre Beach, Florida and sharing her love for it with her many family members and friends. She was a loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her many accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday evening, April 18, 2022 in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Young Life program and may be mailed to Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, 15 Clint Avenue, Camdenton, Missouri 65020 or left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
