Jean M. Hilliard

Jean M. Hilliard, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025 at the age of eighty-eight. She was surrounded by her children, Judy and Herb; son-in-law, Troy; grandchildren, Alison, Joshua, Paul and Hunter; and great-grandson, Hasten. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 7, 1936 to Eugene and Stella Fournier.

In her spare time, Jean loved listening to Elvis, watching westerns on TV, sitting outside watching the birds and traveling.

Jean was preceded in passing by her husband, Herbert W. Hilliard; parents, Eugene and Stella Fournier; brother, David Fournier; sisters, Bonnie Caston and Shirley Barrett.

She is survived by one sister, Lois Wilson; five children, Tom (Hazel) Stockton of Muskegon, MI, Lynn (Tim) Recker of Rolla, MO, Judy (Troy) Popielarz of Osage Beach, MO, Herb (Kym) Hilliard of Rolla, MO and Geneva Caston of Waterford, MI; grandchildren, Hope, Tyler, Halle, Heaven, Rhiannon, Kara, Kyle, Carl Jr., Scott, Alison, Joshua, Paul and Hunter; and her longtime best friend, Sharon. In her passing, Jean leaves behind many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends and other family members who will all truly miss her.
