JEANNIE PHILLIPS Jeannette Ann Phillips, daughter of Earl Arthur and Eunice Mae Allen Tillman, was born, April 21, 1941 in Tecumseh, Missouri. She departed this life, Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of seventy-four years and twenty-nine days. On May 14, 1968 in Independence, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Robert lee Phillips, Sr. Together they shared twenty-nine years of marriage before his passing on February 8, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Anthony Colin and two siblings, Vivian Golightly and Jerry Earhart Survivors include her children, Robin Lee Colin and husband Bobby of Orange, California, Christopher Phillips of Belton, Missouri, Mark Phillips, Sr. and wife Penny of Climax Springs, Missouri, Robert Phillips, III and wife Debbie of Climax Springs, Missouri, Lori Carnahan and husband Daniel, Sr. of Camdenton, Missouri, Wakita Yount and husband Richard of Camdenton, Missouri and Matthew Phillips of Osage Beach, Missouri; twenty-three grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; three siblings, Jack Earhart and wife Sandy of Kansas City, Missouri, Don Tillman of Lee's Summitt, Missouri and Virginia Dobbs of West Plains, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Jeannie was raised in the Tecumseh and West Plains area. As a teen the family moved to Kansas City where she graduated from Northeast High School. She lived and worked there until she met her husband at a coffee shop where she was a waitress. After their marriage, they made their home in Independence until the relocated to the farm in Climax Springs in 1979. Jeannie loved Jesus and was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Camdenton. She loved to spend time reading her Bible In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo and singing with her family. She was an excellent cook and loved to spoil her grandchildren. Most of all, just being with her family brought joy to her. She was a loving mom, grandma, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. She touched many lives and her memory will linger on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Ozark Bethel Chapel Assembly of God, Climax Springs. Burial will follow in Phillips Family Cemetery, Edwards, Missouri. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 pm. in the church. Memorial donations may be made to Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Courtyard Fund and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
