JEFFERY ALAN MAUZY Jeffery Alan Mauzy, son of Michael and Nancy Shepard Watson Mauzy, Sr., was born July 9, 1954 in Anniston, Alabama. He departed this life, Monday, July 23, 2018 in Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty-four years and fourteen days. On December 9, 1984, he was united in marriage to the love of his life Rebecca Earlene Snelling, they were blessed with two children alongside an existing step-son. He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife Becky of the home; his daughters, Kathleen Mauzy of Osage Beach, Missouri and Heather Smith and Patrick Williams of Sedalia, Missouri; Kenneth Smith of Licking, Missouri; his step-son, James Peek and wife Lisa of Camdenton, Missouri; six grandchildren; his father, Michael Mauzy, Sr.; his brother, Michael Mauzy, Jr. and wife Rebecca; his sister, Rebecca Mauzy as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Jeffery spent his younger years growing up in St. Louis, Missouri before his family moved to Osage Beach in 1969. He graduated high school in 1973 and then moved to Springfield, Illinois to attend college. In 1981 he moved back to the lake area and went to work at Electrovert, where he worked for right at twenty-five years. In 1984, he married Becky, high school sweethearts and the woman of his dreams. Together they shared over thirty-three years of marriage. He had made a profession of faith and was saved in the 1970’s. Jeffery was an avid hunter and fisherman. After working with plastics and metal all day he loved coming home and working on wood. He loved to be able to feel the wood and was a master woodworker. His family was his world and he had blessed them with many memories that they will always treasure. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Grand Glaize Beach Shelter PB2, 750 Shelter House Road, Osage Beach, Missouri, 65065 Memorial donations may be made to a fund to assist the family and mailed to the funeral home at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, 15 Clint Avenue, Camdenton, Missouri 65020. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
