Jeffrey Heskett

Jeffrey Allen Heskett, son of Dorothy (Horton) & the late James “Jim” Heskett, was born on January 14, 1967 and departed this life on March 14, 2021. At the time of his passing, he was 54 years and two months of age. Jeffrey was preceded in passing by his father. He is survived by his wife, Shauntel Heskett; three children, Heather & husband Zach Naylor, Rashelle & husband Brock Biggerstaff & Steven McBee; mother, Dorothy & husband Harry Champley; three siblings, Cindy & husband Jerry Duncan, Mike & wife Connie Heskett and Brett & wife Rizza Heskett; eight grandchildren, Joshua Heskett, Lane Chapin, Addilyn Biggerstaff, Brooklyn Naylor, Brycen Naylor, Braylee Naylor, Grayson Biggerstaff and Lukas McBee. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, friends and other family members who will all truly miss him. Jeffrey was born in Davenport, Iowa where he was raised until moving to Diamond Bar, California where he later graduated from Diamond Bar High School. A few years after graduation he met Shauntel Desmazes. On December 10, 1988, they were united in marriage and together they raised three children. Early on in their children’s lives the family moved to Columbia, Missouri where they were raised and graduated from high school. Shortly after their children had finished high school, Jeffrey and Shauntel moved to the Lake of the Ozarks. Jeffrey loved to go on Mercy Me Cruises, Cardinals Baseball (especially Mark McGuire), and above all spending time with his family. Sunday dinners were very important to him and he truly cherished having his family together, enjoying the family meal that only he could prepare. Some of his favorite meals to cook were tacos, Broccoli & Beef and anything that involved barbecuing. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in Church of Osage Hills, Osage Beach, Missouri. Visitation will take place from 1:00-2:00 p.m., prior to the funeral service in the church. Pallbearers will be Brett Heskett, Mike Heskett, Brock Biggerstaff, Zach Naylor, Steven McBee, Jacob Hershberger and Joshua Heskett. Memorial contributions may be made to Phoenix House and left with or mailed to the funeral home at 15 Clint Ave, Camdenton, MO 65020.
