Jerry Don Denny

Jerry Don Denny, son of John C. and Louetta Conn Denny, was born, June 20, 1947 in Sleeper, Missouri. He departed this life, Thursday, October 24, 2019, in his son’s home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of seventy-two years, four months and four days. On August 9, 1964, in Camdenton, he was united in marriage to Linda Lou Odell and to this union children three children were born. Together they shared fifty-five years of marriage. He was preceded in death by parents. Survivors include his wife, Linda Denny of the home; his son, Larry Don Denny and wife Anna of Camdenton, Missouri; his two daughters, Deanna Lynn Denny and Dianna Lynn Johnson and husband Adam all of Camdenton, Missouri; four grandchildren, John Curtis Denny and wife Amanda, Courtney Lea Johnson, Matthew Allen Denny and Rylie Ann Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Emily Rose, Taylor Mae and Preston Blake ; his brother, Junior E. Gregory and wife Barbara of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Jerry was a lifelong resident of Camden County and was a graduate of Camdenton High School. He spent time working for the city of Camdenton for several years before opening Warehouse Tire Wholesale. He operated this business with his son Larry for several years until his retirement. You could always stop by and have a good laugh and a cup of coffee with him. Jerry attended Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church in Decaturville. In his spare time, he could be found antiquing, restoring furniture and at auctions. He really enjoyed cars, whether it be buying and restoring them or attending car shows. The time he treasured most, was when he was with his wife and family. His grandchildren always brought him great joy. He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. . Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery, Decaturville, Missouri. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday evening in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
