JERRY MASSEY Jerry Lee Massey, son of James Francis and Elizabeth Helen Larimore Massey, was born, May 27, 1952 in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life, Friday, February 20, 2015, in Windsor Estates Care Center, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of sixty-two years, eight months and twenty-four days. On September 18, 1970 in Sleeper, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Mary Ruth Howell and to this union two children were born. Together they shared forty-four years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Mary Massey of the home; two children, Danny Massey and wife Jaime and Stacy Farris and husband Joey all of Camdenton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Haile and Evan Farris and Courtney Massey; his parents, Francis and Helen Massey of Phillipsburg, Missouri; a brother, Don Massey and wife Judy of Phillipsburg, Missouri; nieces, Michelle and Nicole Massey, Carolyn “Carrie” McBride and Rosa Mosby; nephews, Randy Massey, Davey, Troy and Brian Howell; a special cousin, Deb Lewis; two brothers-in-law, Perry Howell and wife Shirley of Guernsey, Wyoming and David Howell and wife Thelma of Sleeper, Missouri and a host of other relatives and many friends. Jerry was raised in Phillipsburg, Missouri and was a graduate of Conway High School in the class of 1970. After his marriage, they made their home in Phillipsburg until moving to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1979. He ran a Tom’s route and later drove trucks for Lowe Boats and B&M Manufacturing. He owned Mary’s Gift Shop in Camdenton. Jerry was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He also loved to be outside hunting and fishing. Spending time on the lake boating always brought him joy. He touched many lives and his memory will linger on in the hearts of those who know and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mount Rose Memorial Park, Lebanon. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
