Jim Stewart Jim Dean Stewart, son of Fred Emery and Adaline Marie Logan Stewart, was born, March 3, 1961 in Norfork, Virginia. He departed this life, Monday, March 13, 2017, in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the age of fifty-six years and ten days. He was preceded in death by his father and his niece Zara. He is survived by his daughter, Kegan Powers and husband B.J. of Camdenton, Missouri; two grandchildren, Carson and Harper; his mother, Adaline Stewart of Edwards, Missouri; his siblings, Fred Stewart and wife Donna of Kansas City, Kansas, David Stewart and wife Janie of Raymore, Missouri, Kathy McQueen and Martin of Kansas City, Kansas and Stephen Stewart of Edwards, Missouri; his nieces and nephews, Donyelle and Christ Taylor and their two children, Fred and Jennifer Stewart and their son, Anna and Andrew Hart and their two children, Danny and Erin Stewart and their three children, Amy Fair and her two children, Alan and Jamie Hayward and Martin and Kay McQueen, III and their two children and a host of other relatives and many friends. Jim was raised in the Kansas City, Kansas area and graduated from Slagle High School in the class of 1979. He moved to Camdenton in the mid 2000’s. Jim had worked for A & K Railroad for several years and then at Lowe Boats for many years as well. He had also worked other various welding and construction jobs. Jim had accepted Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He had a passion for fishing and really enjoyed participating in bass tournaments. He loved to hunt, play cards, cook and thoroughly enjoyed playing his scratcher tickets. He most cherished the time he spent with his family. Jim was a loving dad, son, grandpa, brother, uncle and a caring and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
