Jimmie Lee LeClair, son of the late Leo Dale & Betty (McCoy) LeClair, was born on March 6, 1958 and departed this life on July 17, 2024. At the time of his passing, Jimmie was sixty-six years, four months and eleven days of age.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dale LeClair and Joe D LeClair; and his niece, Jennifer LeClair.
He is survived by his sisters, Diane (LeClair) Treece of Kirksville, Missouri and Barbara & husband Harold Coiner of Longmont, Colorado; and one uncle Lowell Houston. In his passing, Jimmie also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and many friends who will all truly miss him.
Jimmie was born in Davenport, Iowa and later attended school in Green Top, Missouri and graduating from Kirksville High School in the class of 1978.
Jimmie made a profession of faith and was baptized at Larry Dugger Family Church in Lebanon, Missouri. He then joined Camdenton Assembly God, where he truly enjoyed attending and listening to Pastor Greg Mills sermons.
While he was able to work, Jimmie spent time working at the Kirksville Shelter Shop and also the Richland Shelter.
In his spare time, Jimmie loved watching westerns, cartoons and wrestling. At one time, he was fortunate enough to go on a trip to Springfield to watch his favorite wrestler. He also loved being apart of the family at Special T Acres, making many friends throughout his twenty years there.

He was a loving brother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2024 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Green Top Cemetery, Green Top, Missouri.
