Jimmy Walter Kilgore
Jimmy Walter Kilgore, son of late Jimmy and Lenna Kilgore, was born on January 7, 1966, and departed this life on October 31, 2022. At the time of his passing, he was 56 years old.
He was preceded in death by his parents and life partner, Beverly Hendrickson.
Jimmy is survived by his sons, Joshua Swinford, Justin Swinford, Kelton Hays, Brandon Nelson, brother Gary Kilgore, and seven grandchildren.
Jimmy Kilgore was raised in San Diego California and graduated from Santana high school in 1985
Before moving to the Lake of the Ozark in 2001, Jimmy spent a major portion of his life in Lake Havasu City, Arizona where he worked as a concrete finisher and would eventually meet Beverly Hendrickson. The passing away of Jimmy’s father, big Jimmy Kilgore, would become his calling to move to the Ozarks and tend to his mother with his life partner Beverly Hendrickson.
Jimmy was into fishing and enjoying the nature the Lake of the Ozarks had to offer. Also, Jimmy was into spending time with his grandchildren every opportunity he had. Jimmy was an avid football fan where he rooted for the San Diego and Los Angeles Chargers and an astute fan of motorsports (more specifically, NASCAR), where rooting for Jimmy Johnson was a must. Often referred to as Zoney at the Lake of the Ozarks because of his ties to Arizona, Jimmy spent 15 years working for Clark’s Concrete Construction Company where he made a relationship with the kindhearted people of The Tree 197 Church. Jimmy would find another calling for helping people through the Lord’s teaching about reconciling the past and establish himself as a man of faith.
He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, brother, neighbor, and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the life he created for his family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held at Knights of Columbus Hall in Camdenton from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, November 5th. His final resting place will be Allee Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations may be made to the family within the service at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
