Joan Goen

JOAN C. GOEN Joan C. Goen was born September 17, 1940 in Jersey County, Illinois. She departed this life, Saturday, June 30, 2007 in St. Johns Hospital, Lebanon, Missouri at the age of sixty-six years, nine months and thirteen days. She is survived by a sister, Angela Goen of Osage Beach, Missouri and her family at Special "T" Acres in Stoutland, Missouri. She was raised in Illinois and later moved to Missouri. She lived with her sister for many years and for the past twenty-five years has been a resident of Special "T" Acres. Joan had a strong faith in Christ and her relationship with the Lord was very evident with the ten Bibles she kept in her room and an angel collection. In the hospital, she had a conversation with the Lord and was at peace. She knew who He was and is in Heaven now. Joan was a very giving, caring and considerate person and many were blessed by knowing her. We celebrate her life and will treasure the memories she created forever. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 2, 2007 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Huttsell officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m., Monday in the funeral home. Private burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Alton, Illinois. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
