Joan Goodman

Joan Goodman, born October 21, 1942. Fell asleep in death May 4, 2021 at 78 years old. She is preceded in death by her parents Roy Woods and Doris Votaw, her sister Elda Davis and 3 husbands. She is survived by her 5 children; Lori Sylvester and husband Mitch, Michele Bustrum and husband Bob, Lorena Lorette, James Watts and wife Kristina, and Robert Watts. As well as 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Joan was born and raised in the state of California, where she also raised her 5 children. During those years she worked hard as a waitress and CNA. A few years after retiring she moved to Oregon and spent several years there with her sister, before moving here to Lake of the Ozarks. In her later years she enjoyed playing cards and board games. Joan's legacy is in the lives of her 5 children and the resulting other 26 lives she leaves behind and the great potential that exists in all those lives.
