John Frame

JOHN FRAME John Walden Frame, son of William Walden and Irene Fay Miller Frame, was born, December 22, 1938 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He departed this life, Tuesday, June 3, 2014, in his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of seventy-five years, five months and twelve days. On December 8, 1973 near Los Angeles, California, he was united in marriage to Eudene Vay Gentry. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Walden Frame. Survivors include his wife, Dee Frame of the home; a half-brother, William Walden Frame of Australia; a half-sister, Salley Vanderleest of Minnesota and other relatives and friends. John was raised in Hopkins, Missouri and later moved to Colorado where he graduated high school. He attended the University of Missouri and transferred to the Air Force Academy of Texas. He then began a twenty-year career with the United States Air Force where he served as a Petroleum, Oil and Lubrication (POL) Officer. He retired as a Major. John and Dee moved to Washington. With no prior construction experience and with research done through books, he built them a house in the hills. They lived in their dream home and started a tree farm. In 2004, they moved to the Lake of the Ozarks. John accepted the Lord as his savior hours before his death and peace is provided knowing he is in Heaven. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Washington. He could do anything he set his mind to by doing research; both in books and the internet. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014 in New Life Church of the Nazarene, Camdenton under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors will follow in Allee Memorial Gardens, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Saturday in the church. Rather than flowers, folks are encouraged to donate a teddy bear. Those teddy bears will then be donated to local fire departments to give to children who have experienced loss or tragedy. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
