John Homer Grim, son of Howard Grim and Mildred (Feltz) Grim, was born June 29, 1942 in Sterling, Illinois. He departed this life November 8, 2024, in Camdenton, Missouri at the age of eighty-two years, four months and ten days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant siblings; his sisters, Helen Eshelman and Elizabeth Knapp; brother, George Grim; nephew, Edward Brasewell; and brother-in-law, Jim Knapp.
He is survived by his sister, Deloris Bivin and husband Dan; brother-in-law, Jim Eshelman; sister-in-law, Gwen Grim-Mead; nieces, Diann Holloway, Julie Fowler, Kelly Musche, Kerry Grim, Tammy Calow, Shane Bivin, Shawna and Stacy Paden, and Samantha Fisher; and nephews, Terry Knapp, James Knapp, and Tim Eshelman; other relatives and many friends.
John was raised in the Sterling, Illinois area and later moved to Lake of the Ozarks.
John was a member of the Fun Runner Car Club and enjoyed restoring cars, particularly his pride and joy Mustang.
In his spare time he enjoyed listening to music and building models.
He was a loving and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
