John Allen “Johnny” Weaver, son of Lawrence and Wandalea (Vincent) Weaver, was born February 12, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas. He departed this life Sunday, November 26, 2023 at the age of sixty-nine years, nine months and fourteen days.

On November 24, 1973, Johnny was united in marriage to Jennifer Whitworth and together they shared fifty years.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Jonathan Weaver; and a brother, Lawrence “Larry” Weaver, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, of the home; his sons, Jacob Weaver and wife Anna of Atlanta, Georgia, Jeff Weaver and wife Jessica of Osage Beach, Missouri, and Jordan Weaver and wife Kylie of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Ashton, Ellie, Jade, Milo, Lennon and Jovi; a sister, Patricia Wittig of Phoenix, Arizona; his mother-in-law Mildred Whitworth of Camdenton, Missouri; a host of other relatives and numerous friends.

Johnny moved to the lake as a young child, and was a graduate of Camdenton High School in the Class of 1972. Johnny worked in construction with his dad from a young age and later owned and operated Weaver Construction. Throughout the years he built many beautiful homes in the Lake Area.

Johnny had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of Canopy Church where he served as the leader of Children’s Corner for many years.

Johnny was an avid sports fan and spent many years playing on various softball teams. He coached countless youth sports teams while his boys were growing up and took great pride in that responsibility. Johnny also loved to fish for big crappie and bass in his private lake.

Johnny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and many accomplishments and will treasure the wonderful memories he has created for his family and friends.
