Joseph 'Joe' Nepote

JOE NEPOTE Joseph Nepote, Jr., son of Joseph Nepote Sr. and Barbara Jane Mann Nepote, was born, March 23, 1943 in Upland, California. He departed this life, Wednesday, December 28, 2011, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty-eight years, nine months and five days. On April 16, 1984 in the Philippines, he was united in marriage to Erlinda Villagracia. Together they shared the past twenty-seven years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Andrew Allison. Survivors include his wife, Erlinda Nepote of Osage Beach, Missouri; a step-son, Benny Javellana and wife Ma. Senen of the Philippines; three step-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and many friends. Joe was raised in California. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged, he returned to California where he owned several businesses. After receiving a degree in Graphic Art, he owned and operated a printing business. He moved to the Lake of the Ozarks where he worked as a jailer for the Camden County Sheriff's Department. Joe had a heart for animals. He rescued, loved and cared for many cats and dogs through the years. His pride and joy was his 2005 Mustang. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Dogwood Animal Shelter and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
