Joseph Lai

Joseph Lai, son of the late Joseph Pau and Katherin (Zaeger) Lai, was born on February 14, 1945 and is now asleep with Jesus, passing from this life on October 6, 2023. At the time of his passing, Joseph was seventy-eight years, seven months and twenty-three days of age.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Lai; and his children, Joseph, Andrew and Timothy. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and other family members who will truly miss him.

Joe enjoyed life to the fullest; he loved his family & friends and made sure they knew that. He was employed for Grey Eagle Distillery for thirty-six years before his retirement.

In his spare time, Joe was an avid fisherman and loved to play cribbage. He filled our lives with joy & laughter and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
