Joy Lynn Jackson

In Loving Memory of Joy Lynn Jackson Born July 8th, 1959 to George Emmitt and Glenna Marie Cooper (Leap), both of whom preceded her in death, Joy Lynn Jackson shed the bonds of this world at the age of 62 on September 22nd, 2021 in Osage Beach, Missouri at Lake Regional Hospital where she passed away after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. Joy was a beautiful and fierce soul who gave all that she could to anyone who asked. She loved dancing to country songs, Andy Griffith, and sitting outside in the cool evening air listening to the sounds of the land she grew up on. Joy’s sense of humor and quick wit were rarely matched and her laughter will be missed the most. Joy leaves behind her “forever love”, Guy Edward Jackson of the home, to continue caring for Matty Lynn, one of Joy’s greatest treasures as an adopted daughter. Other children left behind include Crystal Wilson (Jeremy) of Camdenton, MO., Aaron Loftis (Christina) of Clarksville, AR., Shana Hayes of Sedalia, MO., Austin Rogers (Significant Other, Jessica Stanley) of Camdenton, MO., and Charity Cronin of Camdenton, MO. Joy was preceded in death by her daughter, Angelica Leanne Hayes. Joy also leaves behind several grandchildren and great grandchildren she was very proud of including; Jewel Cumper, whom she raised and loved as her own, Connor Cooper, Isaac Cooper, Marissa Lowe, Cora Wilson, Stanley Wilson, Jordan Gabehart, Christopher Loftis, Camden Loftis, Joshua Loftis, Jameson Rogers, Terrence Killingsworth, Brooklynn Harris, and Peytyn Harris. Joy is further survived by her sister, Debra Winstead (Laurent) of Camdenton, MO., her brother Larry Cooper of Stover, MO., and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of life with the family will be held on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 at The Rock House Church located at Hwy 54 and V Road in Linn Creek, Missouri (behind Tonka Hills Restaurant), from the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Those who know and loved her are welcome to attend. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
