JOYCE EIDSON Joyce Lee Eidson, daughter of Arthur and Ida Gregory Keeney, was born, September 27, 1943 in Camdenton, Missouri. She departed this life, Thursday, March 1, 2012, in her home, Roach, Missouri at the age of sixty-eight years, five months and three days. On July 15, 1960 in Tunas, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Bobby Lee Eidson and to this union one daughter was born. Together they shared fifty-one years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Lois Mae Keeney. Survivors include her husband, Bobby Eidson of the home; her daughter, Tamara Teal and husband Jerry of Springfield, Missouri; two granddaughters, Whitney Hutsell of Prairie Village, Kansas and Ashley Hutsell of Springfield, Missouri; three brothers, Bill Keeney and wife Shawnee, James Keeney and wife Sandy, and Kenneth Keeney all of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Joyce was a life-long resident of the Camdenton area and a graduate of Camdenton High School. She worked as City Clerk for the City of Camdenton and then went on to be a Bookkeeper and Supervisor for Lake Oil Company. She was proud to have worked thirty-six years and eight months for Lake Oil. Joyce made a profession of faith and was a member of Myetta Missionary Baptist Church. She was totally devoted to her family, especially her granddaughters. Spending time with them was most important to her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. Her smile and warm personality left an impact on many people. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by those who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2012 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. A private family service and burial will be in Myetta Cemetery, Camdenton. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
