Joyce Ann Hoskins, daughter of Jean Milton and Otha Lee Eidson Bunch, was born January 19, 1947 in Macks Creek, Missouri. She departed this life Monday, April 26, 2010 in her home in Macks Creek, Missouri at the age of sixty-three years, three months, and seven days. On July 17, 1965, Joyce was united in marriage to Jerry Eugene Hoskins and to this union three children were born. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jerry, on March 20, 2000; and a daughter, Lori Bailey. She is survived by her children, Jessi Smith and husband Christopher, and Eddy Hoskins, all of Macks Creek, Missouri; a granddaughter, Lacy Nelson of Hutchison, Kansas; two grandchildren, Integrity and Elias; her sisters, Jeanne Lindsey and husband Galen of Urbana, Missouri and Paula Eccles and husband Tony of Ponca City, Oklahoma; two nephews, David Eccles of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Thomas Lindsey of Urbana, Missouri; three nieces Amy Bostwick of Urbana, Missouri, and Stephanie and Kayla Eccles, both of Ponca City, Oklahoma; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. Joyce spent her younger years living in various locations with her family. She attended and was a graduate of Macks Creek High School in the class of 1964. Following her marriage to Jerry, they made their home in Kansas City, Missouri for several years where she worked for Sears Department Stores. After returning to Macks Creek, Joyce owned and operated Hoskins Tax Service for several years. Joyce had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Edith. In her spare time, Joyce enjoyed going to the river, camping and fishing whenever possible. She was a mother to everyone and loved spending as much time as possible with her family and friends. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and honor her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010 in the Green Ridge Church with burial following in the Green Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until time of service in the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
