Julie Ann (Headington) Schenherr, age 77, passed away October 25, 2019. She was born September 19, 1942 in Burlington, Iowa, daughter of Hugh and Leverne Headington. She was raised in Decatur, Illinois but was most proud of her Iowa roots. She briefly lived in Kansas City, MO and met and married Richard Schenherr on June 16, 1962. They moved to Linn, Mo in 1964 and stayed until retirement brought them to the Lake of the Ozarks. After a few years of babysitting, She built a career at Mosby starting as a print press operator and ending as a manager over 20+ years. She enjoyed many aspects of her career but the highlight was creating many lasting long friendships. She enjoyed 20 years of retirement at the Lake with her beloved lake view from her home. She is survived by daughter Jolene and son-in-law John Kellogg of Roach, son Darren and daughter-in-law Misty Schenherr of Olathe, KS. Grandchildren Richie, Justin Dakota, Josie and Micheal. Richie’s wife Kirsti and Dakota’s significant other Kattie. Great grandchildren Kaysli, Emberli, Kyler and soon Ryder (due May 2020).One sister, Muriel Albers, four brothers Dennis Headington and wife Louise, Lee Headington, Frank Headington and wife Barb, and Tom Headington and wife Becky. Multiple nieces and nephews and their families across the states. Along with her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by her son Daniel Schenherr (who we take great comfort in knowing they are reunited in heaven). Julie was an amazingly strong woman who inspired so many through her life. She was the best mother, grandma, nana and aunt to not just her family but so many family friends that she loved and welcomed with open arms. She read ferociously, was an amazing cook, loved her flower garden, crocheting, computer puzzles and feeding her hummingbirds. She took great pride in her Norwegian heritage. But mostly, she enjoyed being around family & friends. She will be dearly missed by so many. (Uffda)A Celebration of Life will be held on November 2nd at Knights of Columbus Hall in Camdenton, MO from noon to 5:00pm. Please feel free to join the family to honor the life of this amazing woman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House or King’s Academy School, Lake Ozark, Missouri.
