JUNE HUTCHENS June Hutchens, daughter of Oras F. and Bertha E. Hemphill Rogers, was born November 28, 1954, near Roach, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, July 3, 2007, in her home, near Roach, Missouri, at the age of fifty-two years, seven months, and five days. On January 1, 1993, in Camdenton, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Miller Hutchens, and together they shared the last fourteen years. She was preceded in death by her father, and a sister, Ottie Ilene Rogers. June is survived by her husband, Kenneth, of the home; two daughters, Robbin Hicks, and her husband, Garrett, of Montreal, Missouri, and Rhonda Owens, and her husband, Brian, of Camdenton, Missouri; three step-daughters, Lisa Dixon, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Mona Lombardo, of Camdenton, Missouri, and Kelly Holt, of Harrison, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Justen Owens, Corbin Hicks, and Samantha Owens; six step-grandchildren, Cody Dixon, Courtney Stutesman, A.J. McDonald, Kari Bearden, Bekka Holt and Brooke Holt; three step-great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Tyler and Bryer Stutesman; her mother, Bertha Rogers, of Linn Creek, Missouri; four brothers, Charles O. Rogers, and his wife, Rosemary, of Roach, Missouri, Carl F. Rogers, and his wife, Mildred, of Camdenton, Missouri, Ronnie E. Rogers and Roger S. Rogers, both of Linn Creek, Missouri; seven sisters, Bernice Wood, and her husband, Ralph, of Eldon, Missouri, Jane Bruscher, and Norma Rogers, and her husband, David, all of Macks Creek, Missouri, Shirley Yardley, and Bonnie Bachtel, and her husband, Robert, all of Montreal, Missouri, Patsy Wyrick and her husband, Albert, and Coalene Smythe, all of Kansas City, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was raised in the Camdenton area and attended Camdenton schools. She worked for Modine in Camdenton for seventeen years, and then for Kenny's Merchandise Outlet for twelve years. She also worked side by side with her husband, Kenny, for the last several years. June had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Ira Missionary Baptist Church in Eldridge, Missouri. She enjoyed sewing, painting, drawing, and gardening in her spare time, and also liked visiting with family and friends. June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 4, 2007 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. A private family service will be held later. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
