Airmen First Class Justin Franklin Doss Justin Franklin Doss, son of Leonard Darrel Doss and Kristine Helen Jones Benecke, was born, December 30, 1988 in Austin, Texas. Justin, our hero, passed into the arms of Jesus, suddenly on Saturday, November 8, 2008 in his home, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of nineteen years, ten months and nine days. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mollie Jones and Carol Doss. Survivors include his mother, Kristine Benecke and husband Don of Osage Beach, Missouri; his father, Leonard Doss of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Kourtney Doss (18) and Kayte Benecke (10) both of Osage Beach, Missouri: grandfathers, Dal Jones of Osage Beach, Missouri and Frank Doss of Chesterfield, Missouri and many aunts, uncles and cousins. After graduation from Camdenton High School in the class of 2007, Justin enlisted in the United States Air Force. He recently completed Air Force Schooling and looked forward to a career in the Armed Services. He made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Harper Chapel United Methodist Church. Justin a huge Mizzou football fan and always looked forward to following their seasons. He could light up a room with his smile and could back it up with his awesome personality. He had so many words to share, dreams to follow, work to accomplish and lives to touch. His work here seems left undone, but his early departure will help us to remember to laugh, hug, talk and love each other more. He was a loving son, brother, grand son, nephew and cousin and was a caring neighbor and friend. He left a lasting impression on many lives and his memory will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2008 in Harper Chapel United Methodist Church, Osage Beach, Missouri, under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m., Thursday in the church. Private burial with military honors will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hannibal, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to Harper Chapel United Methodist Church and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
