KENNETH LESLIE DENNY Kenneth Leslie Denny, son of Virgil Leslie and Annie Lee Looney Denny, was born, April 14, 1941 in Camden County, Missouri. He departed this life, Monday, June 21, 2010, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty-nine years, two months and seven days. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Alma and Lois Denny. Survivors include his children, Renee Hunt and husband Alfred of Macks Creek, Missouri, Les Denny and wife Vicky and Keith Denny and wife Annette all of Camdenton, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Brooke Strohkirch, Krista Nunn, Brittany Stephens, Brandon Hunt, Nickie Denny, Blake Hunt, Whitney Denny, Morgan Denny, Taylor Denny and Kassi Denny; six great-grandchildren, Jacob Nunn, Landon Strohkirch, Preston Stephens, Kenslei Nunn, Trey Strohkirch and Lucas Nunn; two brothers, Dennis Denny and wife Velma of Lincoln, Missouri and Densil Denny and wife Gretta of Camdenton, Missouri; three sisters, Jo Ann Hall and husband Floyd and Colleen Hall all of Sweet Springs, Missouri and Carol Fuhrer and husband Bob of Lake Havasu, AZ; the mother of his children, Shirley Crain of Macks Creek, Missouri; two uncles, Arb Denny and wife Betty and Goss Denny and wife Ruthie all of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Kenneth was a life-long resident of Camden County. He worked over forty-two years as a truck driver for Lake Ozark Ready Mix. Kenneth made a profession of faith and attended Myetta Missionary Baptist Church all of his life. He loved children, especially his grandchildren. He was a foster parent for many years and also helped raise several nieces and nephews. He loved family dinners and church singings. He was a big fan of NASCAR and dirt track racing; he especially enjoyed the local dirt tracks. He also loved the PBR bull riding events. Most of all, he loved time spent with family and friends. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and nephew and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 26, 2010 in Myetta Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Myetta Cemetery, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Friday in the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
