Kenneth Eugene Dinwiddie Jr., son of Kenneth Eugene and Gloria Jean Marchant Dinwiddie, was born, August 11, 1950 in Joplin, Missouri. He departed this life, October13, 2019, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty-nine years, two months and two days. He was preceded in death by parents and a sister Linda Jean Walling. Survivors include his children, Shawnna Dinwiddie and fiancé Matt Phillips of Osage Beach, Missouri, Cory Dinwiddie and Heather Roonan of Wilmington, North Carolina, Sherri Walker of Bentonville, Arkansas and Rebecca Dinwiddie of Bella Vista, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Taylor Patredis, Alyssa Patredis, Rylan Robinson, Christian Blackmore, Sabryna Heller, Nicholas Walker, Emma Walker and Rachel Ann Dinwiddie; two brothers, Greg Dinwiddie of Ripley, West Virginia and Mark Jones of Newcastle, Washington; one great-grandchild as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Kenneth was raised in the Independence, Missouri area where he attended Raytown High School. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He had received the greatest award that a grandfather could receive, The Greatest Grandfather Award, from Taylor and Alyssa Patredis, the lights of his life. He was a man that always loved seeking out a new adventure. He had been scuba diving, rock climbing, martial arts, flying planes, skiing both snow and water. Kenneth was a master carpenter, an avid fisherman and gardener. He loved to learn and read which was everything to him, but most of all he loved Jesus. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Resolve Church, 387 MO-42, Kaiser, Missouri, 65047. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
