"Kip" Clifford C. Thomas

"Kip" CLIFFORD C. THOMAS “Kip” Clifford C. Thomas, 68, of Camdenton, Missouri left us while at his home, on April 1, 2017 to a calmer and pain free place. He was born in Aurora, Illinois on November 2, 1948 to Daniel and Ruth Thomas. He grew up in southern Illinois and Chicago suburbs. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War as a Seabee. Clifford then sold his business and moved to Sharon, Wisconsin where he owned and operated Kip and Deb’s Tavern for thirty-one years. He also worked at Peck and Weiss for twenty-seven years. Upon retiring from the HVAC industry and tavern business, he decided to live his dream of fishing, boating and owning a house on the lake. He was known for his kind and caring nature, ingenuity, craftsmanship, dedication to hard work and willingness to share his opinion. He is survived by his loving partner of thirteen years, Barbara Camren; two daughters, Tricia and Peter Pechotta and Trina and Daniel Kouba; his mother, Ruth Thomas; one brother, Daniel and Cathy Thomas; one sister, Kim Schnizlein; one brother-in-law, Lief Eric Olsen, III; four grandchildren, Nathan, Noah, Piper and Nicholas and nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his extended family, Robert, Jr. and Jeanny, Bradley and Lisa, Becky and Beth Camren and their children, Quintin, Makenzie, Jacob, Cheyenne and Faith Camren and his two precious cats, Abby and Bella. Clifford was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Thomas; wife, Debra Thomas and sister, Kay Olsen. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and everyone he had contact with. He was truly amazing and unforgettable. A celebration of life in Camdenton will be held at a later date. Details will be posted at www.alleeholmanhowe.com when they become available. For his family and friends in Wisconsin, they will have a celebration of life on Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 3-6 p.m., at Kip and Deb's Tavern, Sharon, Wisconsin. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
